Hi there,
I can’t really see “negtive impacts”. The positive are, as you mention, having a tidy left column (which gets an increasing problem as the tabbles grow) as well as being able to combine with tabbles-fathers as well – please don’t ask me to explain this here – instead just get more acquainted with the software.
Anyway, nesting is the way to go!

in reply to: Lost tabbles in context menu #10219Hi there,
it should still be there… please try and install the latest version.
BR,
A.Hello!
actually the websites reads: “Tabbles Home
Personal use only, not commercial use.
You can share tagging with up to 4 different users.”Basically, if you have and your 3 friends of family members, purchase a license each, you’ll be able to share your tagging among each other.
The EULA refers to what you’re legally allowed to do: if you buy a Home you are allowed to install it on 3 machines, but there are some cave-at and the sharing won’t work.
About the concept of user: we check the Tabbles’ username and we check it also with the Windows user… but you shouldn’t really worry about it. Basically with the Home, if you want to use the sharing, each license can be used by one person, which needs to create a Tabbles user.
I hope this helps 🙂

Andreain reply to: Overcomplicating stuff #10135Gents,
we’re heard enough complains here.
We’ve removed the pop-up system that notifies you with an update to the 3.0.x.
Now you can keep with 2.4.12 on forever with no harass. Please confirm you get no pop-up anymore.
Thanks,
A.in reply to: Set the same unique name for two more drivers #9914Hello,
unfortunately this is not currently possible… maybe in the future.

Andreain reply to: Overcomplicating stuff #9906Guys,
we understand and we knew that someone would not be happy, but the old architecture was too limited.
You’re welcome to stick to the version 2.4

A.in reply to: Question about tabbles.. #9822Hello,
so:
1) you’ll need 4 home licenses
2) the plugin is installed together with the software, you should have it already!
3) please write me at andrea -at- tabbles.netThanks!

in reply to: Annoying update #9821Dear everyone,
we’ll disable the update message soon.
If you need help to setup SQL, you’re welcome to write us at bugs -at- tabbles.netBR,
AndreaHi Cherold,
sorry to hear the update went wrong. We’ll disable the pop-up in a few days.
Btw, the files limitation you saw, happens only if you use or Cloud to save your data. If you install your own MS SQL Server, you won’t have that limitation anymore.

Andreain reply to: Directory Opus Integration #9745Hello Chuck,
thanks for the hint. While we’re probably not going to write the plugin outselves anytime soon, it would be indeed possible (and maybe even not too hard) to have some integration with Directory Opus: I see there are plugins developed for it, so they may have an API as well. Since we also have an API, a 3rd party developer may be able to put together a plugin that does what you’re asking for.
If you know more or are willing to help, that would be great!BR,
A.in reply to: Open Full Tabbles Window #9744Hello Chuck,
this may be feasible – we’ll add it to our to-do list.

in reply to: Open Full Tabbles Window #9733Hello Chuck,
we only have Alt + C to open the “Quick open” at the moment… have you tried working with that?
