Upon a user request, we tried creating and running a Tabbles database on a Microsoft SQL Server Express 2008 R2, installed on a Windows 2003 SP2 – and it worked just fine! Basically Tabbles needs a database running on MSSQL Server 2008 or above (any version): as long as you can get it up and running. This may be handy to those of you who have an old server you’re attached to 🙂

Tabbles database will work on it. The Tabbles client will work on Windows Vista, 7, 8, 8.1 and 10. Above is just a screenshot of the Windows 2003 server with MSSQL 2008 Express running on it.
