Yeah exactly….main reason would be not to have to manually create tabble everytime I create new folder (for example new project folder) also in order to reduce number of files linked with e.g. "new project" tabbles.

If it’s complicated to create then my suggestion is really quite excessive, that’s true.

    Thanks for your answer

This feature would be perfect alternative for categorizing of files when name of folder = name of tabble

    BUT
    – there will be no need to manually create the tabble everytime I create the folder.
    – there will be no need to link its files with the tabble
so I it will radically decrease number of categorized files.

    Sounds fair ! Thanks

(I was trying to select tabbles of a file using selection area but none of file view doesn’t allow me to do so. Only way to do that is to select each tabble. Although I selected all tabbles of file Y and dragged em to file X, file X was linked only with one of these tabbles.)

I think It’s at least quite time consumpting to tag file X with each tabble of file Y especially if there’s many of em.

    No, I haven’t yet.
I’ve only noticed that Tabbles keeps constant CPU usage and its increases aren’t very sharp.

    Ok

I use a specific folder to store ALL newly created files (downloaded files, screenshots, saved pictures, newly created documents,….).
This folder is like a "sorting hub" where all newly created files are "waiting" for me to link em with a specific tabble.
That’s why I set Tabbles to watch this folder using autotagging rule.

When new file is created/downloaded in this folder, I usually want to perform one of these actions with the file:
    1) LINK MORE TABBLES to the file
    or
    2) OPEN the file immediately
    or
    3) COPY PATH of the file (in order to use it in a specific program)

While first one is already offered in a POPUP window, I miss other two commands mentioned above.

I only thought that these commands could be usefull for others users too. That’s all 🙂

I think that font size of commands is quite big. With smaller font popup could be a bit tinier.

And also there are some commands that I have never used e.g.HISTORY or EDIT RULE. It could be replaced by more practical commands (OPEN, COPY PATH). But maybe it’s only my case. Small research could show us which popup commands people prefer.

Advanced mode is nice idea to solve it.
