Is there a way to delete the existing DB on a locally installed Tabbles? I would like to create a new DB from scratch, but apparently the DB is locked and cannot be deleted manually even if Taggles is not running.

      Any help is much appreciated.

      Hi Armin,

the fastest way to do that is renaming (or deleting) the files:

      tabbles4.mdf
      tabbles4_log.ldf

      in:

      C:\Users\[your Windows user]\AppData\Local\Tabbles\LocalDb

You need to do this with Tabbles turned off and maybe you’ll have to restart your pc after shutting Tabbles down as the LocalDB will still be running (and keeping them locked) after Tabbles is turned off.

When I do that and restart the PC, then Tabbles attempts to log in to the non-existent DB forever and has to be killed via Task Manager.
