      Hi folks,

      Windows 10

can’t autotag by ‘and the file name contains’ NOTHING seems to be working AT ALL!
I have a bunch of files that all go like this:

      RE 12345-07 – Johnson – 100,00.pdf
      RE 89749-08 – Fisher – 100,00.pdf
      RE 24624-08 – Williams – 100,00.pdf
      etc.

I want to autotag all .pdf that contain the -07 string.

Does Autotagging work for any condition?
      such as
when a file is created and the file type is ‘pdf’

      ?

My auto-tagging isn’t working either, but in the past i have had results using ‘and the file path matches the regular expression’ [you should be able to define a match condition with files having “-07” ]

      Hi there,

I’ve just made a few tests and figured out what the problem is.

To make a long story short, if you need an auto-tagging rule that is triggered when a file is put into a certain folder AND the file name contains certain letters (e.g. “-07”), then create/edit the auto-tagging rule from Tools > Auto-tagging rules
We’re working to fix the issue of creating the rule while right-clicking on a folder.
