I’m new to Tabbles, and I have to say that it’s exactly what I’ve been looking for for quite a few years. As such, I’ve got lots and lots of files that need sorting, and it’s something of a mission. What I’ve been doing is having a particular tabble created, then going through my files and adding each one that fits into that tabble (far quicker than adding each tabble to each file individually). That’s great, but with the tens of thousands of files that I’m tagging, it’s time consuming and I’m not getting each tabble done in one go.

The problem comes when it’s time to continue tagging files. To see where I got up to I need to see what the last file tagged was. However the option “sort by recently tagged” lists the first file tagged first, rather than the last file tagged. And tabbles displays files in small pages than can only be scrolled through one at a time, rather than being able to jump to any specific page.

So I’ve just come back to continue tagging files into a tabble that at the moment contains 2,500-odd files. To find out where I left off and where I need to start from, I’ve got to start on page 1, scroll down to the bottom, hit “next”, wait for page 2 to load, scroll down to the bottom, etc., until I get to page 24. It’ll be far worse next time if I don’t finish this tabble today.

Is there any way to either have the files listed in reverse order, or to navigate directly to page 24? That would make a laborious task a million times less laborious.

Ah, now I see what the problem is. It’s not what I said above, it’s that if you list them in order of last tagged, it lists them in order that they last had any tag put on them, rather than in the order that they last had the tag that you’re currently viewing put on them. The latter would be a nice option to have, along with better navigation controls.
