I can see from your Roadmap that WMI integration to read serial numbers off devices plugged in won’t be in effect until version 3.0+

Let me just say this. If this feature was implemented as soon as possible, you could possibly in effect be averting a huge number of other hassles along the way there. This is my opinion because I can foresee the a reasonable number of improvements to the overall system and underlying data structure, simply by having a unique ID (of sorts) for devices detected by your system; as opposed to the present usage of drive letter and name. I’m also a programmer with the .NET environment, so I know the kind of difficulties you guys are faced with everyday. :ugeek:
