Why are the tags sorted in the order they were created when I previewed them? I’m an animation short film enthusiast and I have a lot of files that need to be categorized, so I need to create a lot of different tags. One file often has more than a dozen tags.
After spending a lot of time creating a tag tree and starting to tag some collections, I discovered that when I previewed the tags on a file, no matter how I adjusted the tag name or color, the order of the tags in the preview file was incorrect. I spent several hours searching the Internet and testing, and the result was “sorted by the time the tags were created.”
Do you realize how ridiculous this sorting logic is? And the key point is that such ridiculous sorting logic has persisted for so many years?
It means I have to delete the tag tree I spent days building step by step, and then manually type out the text word by word, and then import and create tags step by step. At the same time, I can’t miss any tags, because the new tags I create later will cause the tag order of the preview file to be messed up. But how can I stop adding new collections? There is an endless supply of animation artists, and I will not stop collecting.
I sincerely hope you can resolve this issue.
