      I have really found the program useful and was a big supporter, but with the latest release requiring me to either store my DB in the cloud or install a Microsoft database, I have to ask” What the heck are you guys thinking?”

      Maybe I don’t understand your sales model. I assumed that this product would be directed at the desktop user with the ability to provide optional enterprise tagging. Why not simply use an opensource DB (MySQL or better yet flatfiles like Splunk) on the desktop? If for some reason you MUST use MSFT SQL, why not SQL Server Express?

      Asking users to register ANYTHING in order to use it is like picking your nose on a date — big turnoff.
