I have just found this software, and I have not really had a chance to use it properly yet.
It could be just what I have been looking for, for a long time. I want to organise architectural CAD and related files within projects in the file system, but still have them organised in different ways.
Before I dive in:
What happens when the files are moved in the file system (other folders or drives)? What happens if they are renamed, or their properties or file size is changed (from editing, or changing tags or other metadata)? Basically, can this software keep track of what happens to the files outside of the program, and keep the database up to date?
If it can, this is a dream come true. If this is suitable, I plan to use this on a Windows 2008 R2 file server. I have not even begun to think of how the accessible through the database through network, so some explanation of this would be great.
Thanks!
