I have installed the latest Tag with Tabbles Chrome Extension and set up the Bookmarklet shortcut.

However if I drag the Bookmarklet onto a Page or a GMail Item all that happens is an about.blank page opens.

I am currently tagging emails through Outlook but would prefer to be able to do this via GMail.

      V5.2.27

      Hi there,

you shouldn’t drag the bookmarklet onto a page, you should just press it.

The Chrome Extension appears to work… what happen when you press the Chrome Extension’s button?

        Andrea,

Many thanks for the prompt response. All resolved now thanks.

The Tabbles windows was not opening in front of the browser but I can view/access from Tabbles shortcut.

Can I just say that this is a brilliant piece of tagging software. I came to it mainly because I used to be converting my Home Office paperwork to searchable PDFs, however the OCR and conversion process was very slow. I soon released that I only needed key terms from the documents. So now I just convert the documents to simple PDFs and just Tabble Tag the key values.

If you could just add the same type of tagging that you have in MS Outlook too Gmail it would be fantastic!

        Regards and thanks,
        Martin

      Hi Martin,

thanks for the hint. We are not planning to add any integration with Gmail any time soon, but please keep in mind that we have an API system (https://github.com/tabbles/tabbles-testPlugin-ApiV4) and we’d be happy to help 3rd party developers to do a plugin like this – so if you can do it or you know anyone willing to do that, please let us know 🙂
