I ask this question rather than experimenting … if I do not get an answer I’ll experiment (I could not find anything on this in the wiki or in the forum)!

Is it possible to remove SQL server from the Windows startup and have it start just when Tabbles is executed?

Thanks -

Giovanni
Hi, unfortunately what you want is not possible.

OP, maybe check how to start/stop services with powershell…

(I also installed with “manual” service triggering because my low latency setup…)

      Hallo.
I’ve Tabbles 3.1.22 successfully installed in February. After 3 weeks I the PC is crashing twice with blue screen.
I then Tabbles and SQLEXPRSS uninstalled and reinstalled installed.
SQLEXPRESS is running properly. With Tabbles but I cannot connect to the database record SQLEXPRSS (see attachments).
      Best Regards

Hi Peter, we solved this issue via email. (You were typing slash instead of backslash.)
