      Hello,

I have Win XP Home SP3, latest Framework software installed is Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 SP1.
Both ways to install ‘Tabbles’ (Framework boostrap included / Framework 3.5 install separately) failed with:
‘Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0a’ not installed. However, MS does not offer such a download.
      Any ideas?

      Regards,
      Peter.

      Hi,

I’m sorry, I have no idea why the installer is not installing the Framework 3.5sp1.

You could try to install it manually. Just go to this address and click "download". Installation should be pretty much automatic. It could take 20 minutes or so.

That was what I meant with ‘Framework 3.5 install separately’. I downloaded the package from MS and tried to install it, but got the error mentioned above.

I see. Sorry, I can’t help you then. I suggest asking at some Microsoft forum related to the .NET framework installation. 😳

OK. It seems there are some common installation problems with Framework 3.5, some of them come from version 2 being not ‘properly’ installed. So now I got this issue resolved and ‘Tabbles’ is running, at last.
