Hi!
I want to exclude a folder that is not shown in the dialog.
Example: C:\Users\MyUser\DropBox\.dropbox.cache
What should I do to exclude such folders?
Thanks!
Hello Michelle,
not sure what you want to exclude, but you may want to check our manual and search for “Blacklist”:
Thanks,
A.
@michellazarenko have you figured it out?
Well, I’m trying to add folder to blacklist.
That’s what I started from.
Then I found that folder selection dialog do not show me folders marked as hidden in windows.
It makes tabbles completely unusable with dropbox folder. Because dropbox creates hidden folder for cache and I’m getting multiple copies of the same file picked up by tabbles. So instead of 700 files, I could have 5000-6000 files displayed by tabbles. And cannot exclude the cache folder because there is no way to see it in folder selection dialog.
is it possible to add it manually somehow? Editing configuration file?
Hello,
– we have both “whitelists” and “blacklists”… have you tried with the Whitelist?
– also, if you make the cache folder visible in Explorer, you should be able to see it in Tabbles too.
I’m surprised as many people use Tabbles on dropbox (including me) and it’s the first time someone reports similar issues… could it be that you have 2000 rules working in the background?
