I have a folder (call it “U:Shared”) with several thousand tagged files on my desktop machine.  I’d like to maintain a copy of this same folder (again, it could be called “U:Shared”) with the same tags on my tablet computer for use while traveling.  I do NOT have access to the internet while traveling, so I cannot use Tabbles sharing (at least as I understand the documentati0n).  I’ll need to synchronize the two copies of the tagged file structures before leaving on a trip, and once again after I return from a trip.  There are other tagged files on both machines that are not in the “U:Shared” folders; these are strictly local to each machine and are not synchronized, but the Tabbles database referencing these local files must not be effected by whatever technique is used to synchronize the “U:Shared” folders.

Can anyone suggest a way to do this?

Yes, you can do this via Dropbox or via another cloud/syncing software. Tabbles doesn’t do any syncing and we’re not planning to implement anything like this…

      Am I helping?
