      I’ll link a mac app as sample : TagBox which use a small window to allow user to drop files quickly in tags.

      The main window is good for browsing tags, but she could have a "compact" version which will be more useful when tagging a lot of files.

      (And don’t hesitate to look for mac tagging apps, there is a lot of them)
