I just recently started using Tabbles and I very much like the integration and versatility. However, two problems with Windows Explorer began occurring immediately after I installed Tabbles (and SQLExpress).
Firstly, the address bar in Explorer is entirely messed up now. I’ve attached a png of what I mean by ‘messed up’; this occurs every time I open Windows Explorer and it makes it rather difficult to go to the parent directory. It also affects open/save dialog boxes in other software, if that software uses Explorer’s default layout (for example it affects TeXnicCenter but not GIMP.
Secondly, Explorer no longer refreshes folders the same way it used to. For example, when I save a file to the desktop in some other program (e.g. Microsoft Paint), its icon doesn’t appear on the desktop until I click on the desktop and press F5. This doesn’t only occur with the desktop, and certainly not only with Paint.
I’m using Windows 7 (up to date).

HI – I actually had your second problem before I ever installed TABBLES – and this intermittently occurs still. When I reboot, it stays away for a while – the price of running a complex Windows installation (;
I did, at that time, have SQL Server installed, so I would highly discount a connection there, as I have installed SQL Server on many machines, both Win7 and Win8.
Since it sounds like you are an advanced user, I suppose you have already done a sfc /scannow . . . . (look it up, if you haven’t) And uninstalled TABBLES . . . ?
If so, i’d venture a guess at video driver corruption.
