Tabbles browser integration
Drag and drop the bookmarklet Tag with Tabbles into your browser’s bookmarks bar. Works with Tabbles 1.4.10 and above.
What is a bookmarklet and how does it work?
It’s a small piece of Javascript code that runs into your browser. It is also a straightforward way to have your browser to communicate with a desktop application. Out bookmarklet is pretty simple and should work with any recent browser (as long as Javascript is active). If you’re not sure how this works, please follow the indications for your browser:
| Firefox 3 and 4 |
Firefox 4: you first need to show the bookmark bar.
1) Drag’n'drop this link: Tag with Tabbles up to your Bookmarks Toolbar |

| 2) Firefox will then prompt you for confirmation: check “Remember my choice” and click on “OK” |

| Internet Explorer 7 |
| 1) Set the Links Toolbar as visible: click on Tools > Toolbars > Links |
|
 |

| 2) Right click on this link: Tag with Tabbles and click “Add to Favourites…” |
|
|

| 3) Internet Explorer will ask you where to create the favourite: select “Links” |
|
|

|
| 4) Internet Explorer will then prompt you with a security alert, click “Yes” |
|
|

| 5) The bookmarklet should now be installed, click on it to start tagging! In IE7 and IE8 you can change the bookmarklet icon by: right click > Properties > (Web Document) Change Icon, then browse to the Tabbles program location, select the tabbles.exe and click “OK” then “Yes”when prompted. |

| 2) Internet Explorer will ask you where to create the favourite: select “Favorites Bar” |

| 3) Internet Explorer will then prompt you with a first security alert: make sure “Always ask….” is unchecked and click “Allow” |

| 4) Internet Explorer will then prompt you with a second security alert: make sure “Do not show me….” is checked and click “Allow” |
