Transisto	Updates are kinda slow to come. Been trying to start using Tabble a dozen time, If tabble is to replace my folder organization, it better handle them somehow.

Transisto	On then I found a bug, it work with all other folders except those on my desktop. Even those on my desktop work when accessed from an Explorer at the root I’m using an SSD so due to limited space my desktop folder is located on a other drive. When I’m checking propriety of a folder on my desktop, it’s location is defined as : x:AdministratorDesktop When I get there from root I get X:AdministratorDesktop After hours of tests, I think the problem is that Explorer.exe is not case sensitive and when entering lowercase drive letter it is automatically upercased. But Tabble is not, [flash=958,767]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2479243/TEMP/tabble_dir.swf[/flash] As for the slow updates, I’m looking often at tabble for explorer integration. It would be a step closer to what I want to be able to do : To "move" away a file I have on "desktop" to tabble and forget about it. /Out of my view/ It would go into a repository folder of my choosing. And for the sake of structure recovery it would go into /tabble files/1st_TAG/ instead of one giant pot. Also waiting for the "stay on top" drop icon, a la "GetRight" … hehe that’s 11 years old. http://getright.com/ Thank you.

Once, please elaborate that: 1) what we’re working on (and believe me, we are), is trying to understand how this pieces of code (one and two) work. 2) What this code does is "listening" when the user does copy/cut/paste with Explorer – and tell it to Tabbles, that’s it. The stuff you wrote here (as far as I understand) was never even discussed… 3) if you’re by any chance skilled with C++ and COM/ATL technology, you’re more than welcome to lend a hand! Transisto	I had written a longer reply but my browser crashed on me. I have not been able to reproduce the problem neither, on VMs ,, I’ll update once I fix it. 1. You have all my support, I feel you’re close to it. 2. A common work-flow is to take what we download from internet (in the incomings folders) and move them into directories, So I tag it, it’s still there, If I move it, the tag is lost, You already know all this, So There could be an added action to the preset rules, that move them in a repository once they’re tagged. 3. Sorry, I wish I could, but now I’m finishing the french translation and, of course, bringing new people in. (more so, when I feel it’s ready for prime time)

This won’t happen at anytime – it would totally kill the purpose of Tabbles (that is, help to manage your files on your hard-drive, not in a repository). Maybe you should check M-Files… Btw: we’re not targeting the download workflow, but more the workflow of users who produce they’re own files and have to categorize them anyway (mostly on a shared drive) "Transisto" wrote: 3. Transisto	This won’t happen at anytime – it would totally kill the purpose of Tabbles You’re right, but at some point I suggest you consider adding a tag on icons of the Tagged files. That’s way I would know witch file can be moved away U know, the icon of Synced dropbox files. Thank a lot,
