I have Visual Studio 2010 Pro installed (well, Gates’ gift for college students), however, I would have time after 2010-6-6.

I tried Altova XMLSpy 30-day trial just now, translated the "about_tabbles" string into Chinese..Here is the file, check if it works……

Resource1.zh.altova.zip (20.1 KB)

Thanks coolcfan! Your file works indeed :)

but please check again the forum and the blog post cause we just found out that you can simply use Zeta resource editor (instructions are in the post!

P.S.: we really need also someone for the Japanese and Korean! If you happen to know someone who can speak Japanese/Korean, please let them know that we’ll be very glad to hand them a license if they help us! :D

Best regards and thanks for your help from the other side of the northern emisphere!

Well, I will choose Visual Studio 2010 because I don’t want to have other software installed for a single job… especially when I have already installed some that work.

And… For Japanese, I know some of my classmates who know Japanese well, but nobody uses …or even cares…Tabbles…
I will keep an eye for that, but I think you should let some NATIVE Japanese know Tabbles…

It’s fine if you can use Visual Studio – it’s totally up to you :)

Whoever we can get aboard for the Japanese, it will be fine: the translation can alway be improved later on.

Looking forward to get your Chinese localization ASAP! :)
Thanks!

A.

I can’t start translating until June 10th. Before that, I have to prepare for my graduate thesis defense………….and June 9th is the day I fight with my professors….

终于高考完了。。
录取什么的也搞定了~
我想我在将来的一段时间内应该有空来和大家一起翻译这个软件。
谁能告诉我一下现在的进度好吗?

I have finished college entrance examination and another work at June and July (It’s a very important examination to Chinese students)~
And I think I have time and energy to translate Tabbles in the future.
So who can tell me the progress about this?

hi there!

thanks for offering your help first of all :D
… right now the Chinese translation is there, maybe there is like 3% of the strings which are not yet been translated. You can grab the info about how to translate along with the latest info on the translation thread and you can submit your translation by replying to thread.

What about translating the manual? :) :geek:

Best regards,

Andrea
